I recommend you start by reading my Lacto-Fermentation Primer. This will give you a base level of knowledge and arm you with the right information to successfully and safely ferment food at home.
When you're ready to explore the wonderful world of fermented foods, I recommend you start with a simple Fermented Cucumber recipe or Lacto-Fermented Cabbage (Sauerkraut). My Fermented Hot Sauce is also an excellent recipe to start with.
