Levantine Recipes
Levantine cuisine refers to the culinary traditions of the Levant region, which encompasses countries such as Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Palestine. This vibrant and diverse cuisine is renowned for its rich flavors, fresh ingredients, and a harmonious blend of influences from Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Arabic culinary traditions. And of course, it's the cuisine I grew up with and love so much.
Not sure where to start? Here are a few Levantine recipes to get you going hummus with blistered cherry tomatoes, Mutabal (roasted eggplant dip), and Labneh balls.
For a more sizeable recipe, try one of my mains: Maftoul (Palestinian Couscous with Chicken), Maqluba (Upside-Down Rice and Chicken), or Musakhan (Sumac Chicken with Onions).
